SENNHEISER HD 180 review

Pros:
1. Very flexible and sturdy.
2. Freq. response awesome.
3. Many reviews
said about low sound, but it is not the case. If you are using this with your mobiles, just adjust your equilizer properly and you will experience awesome sound level.
4. Headphones fit on the ears comfortably. Can be used for long hours without irritation or sweating.
5. Wire length: 3 meters (pro for me at least)
6. Cheap with similar features as HD 201
cons:
1. The ear covering cussion becomes a bit flatty after some days. But, it is easily available to replace.
2. It is said lightweight, but it is a bit bulky.
3. Not suitable for travel as wire length is 3M and headphones look big over head.
4. 180° twist of headphones is not there, so you cannot turn it outside to listen from just one side.

What You Can’t Do With Windows 10 Mobile!

Windows 10 Mobile is now available as an upgrade for Windows Phone users.
You may just have spotted the rush of stories. However, while there’s a natural urge to upgrade, some folk may want to hold off.
Microsoft has a long list of features that don’t work with the new OS, that do on the older versions.
Features removed, non-functional, or not yet added include:
#-Notifications for missed calls, messages, and emails on contact tiles are not supported at the time of Windows 10 Mobile release.
#-Me Tile and Me Card are no longer supported.
#-Cortana can no longer search for apps, setting, email, text messaging, contacts and QR Codes on the device and can no longer open apps through voice commands.
#-“Hey Cortana” is no longer available on some upgraded devices.
#-Group tiles can no longer be used to receive social networking status updates.
#-Indoor Maps are no longer available for some locations.
#-Certain enterprise features, including Data Protection Under Lock, are not available; please contact your Microsoft Volume Licensing representative for more information.
#-At time of Windows 10 Mobile release Outlook Mail app cannot open .EML attachments.
#-Outlook Calendar app does not support Tasks.
#-MDM capability to prevent saving and sharing Office documents not supported.
Of course, this situation is fluid and could change as future upgrades arrive. However, for those reliant on Exchange, permissions and MDM, the future may not look quite so rosy right now.
IT departments will certainly be taking a hard look at the upgrade, as it break some data protection systems.

how to install Android N in your nexus?

you’ll need to have your device unlocked. You won’t need root,You’ll also need ADB and fastboot installed on your computer and have at least a vague working knowledge of both.then, follow these steps:
1. Download the factory image for your device here - (https://developer.android.com/preview/download.html)
FreebieDot.com Freebies - Tons of Freebies and Free Stuff! 2. Unzip the file and save it somewhere easy to find.
3. Connect your device to your computer via USB cable and ensure debugging mode is enabled.
4. Open an ADB command line.
5. Enter adb reboot bootloader to access your device’s bootloader. (OS X users should add ./ before this command.)
6. Navigate to the folder containing your factory image.
7. Enter flash-all to run the installation script. (OS X users, same caveat as step 5.)
The script will take a few minutes. It’s typical for devices to linger on the boot animation for several minutes before starting up, so if yours takes a while don’t panic. Once the device boots up, log in and have fun!

Warning: This will wipe your device. Google mentions this on several of its download pages, but just in case you missed it, flashing this will completely wipe your device and erase all your data. Be sure to do a backup before you proceed and don’t try this on a device you absolutely need for work.
This year, you also have an alternative! You can join the Android Beta program. Once Google launches the program later today, you’ll be able to head to this link - (https://www.google.com/android/beta) and sign up to receive updates to Android N over the air. No need to download or flash anything. This might be slower than installing the factory images yourself, but it’s also much easier.

Note - only few nexus are supported at this point.

Check out more information about Android N and how to install it at the source link below. If you don’t have a device you can try it out on, be sure to stay tuned to our coverage to hear about all the cool new things we find. http://android-developers.blogspot.com/2016/03/first-preview-of-android-n-developer.html

Android N beta features

As the new Android N beta version is out there are some cool features in it.
Performance - it seems to be very fast and responsive. Some times it crashes but overall the experience is great if you focus on speed.
New lock screen look.
Notification window/Status bar - now you have some toggles in status bar.
And you can directly reply to the message in notifications window but no it only supports native apps.
Multiple windows - as Samsung and LG did now stock android is also taking advantage of bigger screen with split windows. Now you can run two apps at same time at Same screen.
Dose on the go - which is actually a second version of dose feature which was introduced in Marshmallow which will save your battery life.
Data saver - it a data saving feature which we are using it from very past. It will save your data increase your net speed and save your battery life.
Emergency Info - it's not that big feature according to technology but it can be a life saver. It just a set of info of your blood group and some health related topics.
there are so many feature will be coming or changing. So keep on eye on they.

Samsung galaxy s7 - Samsung's 2016 flagship smartphone.

But does it really a 2016 smartphone.
Because its design is 2015's flagship.
Yeah right I'm talking about S6. Well when I checked the MWC coverage of pocketnow.com I was like S7 = S6 + IP68 + SD card slot.
Okay okay there are so many improvement in internals. But don't you think that if you really want to buy a phone just because it has Snapdragon 820?
There are so many phone's with this chipset and adding a micro sd slot it's nice improvement but at the end of the day it's not like that you have to solve your last years mistakes and provide us same phone.
Camera - okay I accept dual pixel technology will help in low light and it will make some improvement in camera performance too. But do you really gonna buy that phone just for low light performance?
IP68 rating is great. But they should have changed the design of this phone.
Samsung is doing it since the start of galaxy S series. They changed S6 design elements. But now still they will do it like this for at least 3 years.
But it was just a my opinion you may have other opinion.
Thanks for reading.

internal storage vs external storage.

You might think that buying a handset with 32 GB of internal memory and adding a 32 GB microSD card to is the same as buying a 64 GB smartphone. It's not.
This important. It is always cheaper to add external storage, and thus tempting to do so, but it’s just not as effective. Why? To explain this we must look at life before and after Marshmallow.
Before Android 6.0 Marshmallow
On devices that don't run Marshmallow, the kind of data that can be stored on the microSD card is different to what can be stored in your phone. You can store movies, music and image files easily, but app data (including sometimes large game files) is trickier.
You can’t, for example, install an entire app or game onto a microSD card. You can move part of the data there, but that's all.
Because of this, even with a 128 GB memory card stuffed into a 16 GB device, you could still find yourself frequently running out of storage space. So, first and foremost, microSD cards are more limited in terms of the type of data they can store, while internal storage can hold any data.

MicroSD cards can be used for good.
After Android 6.0
Google has made an attempt to unify the MicroSD / internal storage experience in Android Marshmallow with a feature known as Adoptable Storage. With this, you can use a microSD card just like internal storage. The caveat is that once you do this the microSD card can only be used in that device, and removing it can cause all kinds of problems.
moto g 2014 marshmallow cm13
Devices with a microSD card slot will be able to format an SD card as internal storage.
Though it may act the same as your device's internal storage, it's still not quite the same.
The speed at which your device reads and writes information to storage mediums affects overall performance.
Traditionally, accessing data on external storage mediums was almost always slower than the dedicated drive. With Adoptable Storage, this is still mostly true: the unification of these two storage mediums will have an adverse affect on overall read and write speed.
But to make the situation even more complicated, performance may improve in rare cases.
On the HTC One A9 and confusion
With the HTC One A9, a MicroSD card can actually improve the phone’s read and write speeds. It depends on the type of SD Card, but when using the SanDisk Extreme Plus 64 GB in our One A9, the overall read and write speed actually increased. Truthfully, it was not to any visible degree, but worth mentioning all the same.
androidpit HTC One A9 Format internal storage
Using a high-performing microSD card in the One A9 is probably a good thing.
On the Galaxy S7 and confusion
The Galaxy S7 has made matters worse because its MicroSD cards don’t make use of the Adoptable Storage feature, despite the fact that the S7 runs Marshmallow.
Based on current information, it seems that SD cards in the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will act the same way as external storage does in the traditional Android sense, that is, they can only store photos, videos, app data, and other such files.
Where does this leave us?
Android Marshmallow has attempted to bring the warring factions of internal and external storage together. There is currently a ceasefire: these storage forms are playing nice. If you take advantage of Adoptable Storage, your MicroSD card will act just like internal storage with few downsides. But some families, such as LG and Samsung, haven’t implemented Adoptable Storage.
For now, I’d still advise against buying additional storage if you want the same function as internal storage, unless you know your device supports Adoptable Storage and don’t mind a potentially adverse effect on performance. Additionally, external storage mediums are prone to corruption, and who knows what the long-term effects of persistent data transfer will be when microSD cards are used like internal storage.
If you just want another way to store pictures and videos without clogging up your internal memory, a microSD card will still do just fine.

why did I ported my Airtel sim to Vodafone?

Bang! 4G the latest generation of Internet!
I thought the same. That's why I ported my reliance sim to Airtel because Airtel was providing 4G spectrum in Mumbai. But I was very much disappointed by the Airtel 4G. As 4G was there in Mumbai. My smartphones was supporting the 4G. I took 4G enabled sim too. But I had no 4G network in my phone.
Shit!
I called CC of Airtel and they said your phone's Band doesn't support our LTE band. LTE basically means 4G. Band are the different Mhz spectrum of LTE.
Wait but my phone didn't supported the Airtel 4G band.
My supports band till BAND 21.
And Airtel had band 40. Which was supported by the low end new 4G phone.
But Airtel told me to wait for some months we're working on it. But I still doubt that.
Well finally good news arrived Vodafone is launching 4G in Mumbai till end of march and more than that it has band 3 spectrum.
So I decided to port my sim and did.
If you have same problem you have the solution.

12 Tips to Make the Battery Last Longer on LUMIA.

1. Turn On Battery
Battery saver is not recommended to be turned on all the time because that way you will lose out on many features. But when you need it, you should do it.
Step 1: Flick to the application list, go to settings and tap on battery saver. Change the switch to turned on.
 Battery-Saver-Mode
Step 2: Additionally you should check the advanced settings. You have three choices. So, choose the one that you require
 .
 Battery-Saver-Advanced
Note: When battery saver mode is switched on, many applications and automated tasks will be disabled. For example, email synchronization will be paused, live tiles will not get refreshed and applications won’t work in the background.
2. Close Applications Properly
Windows Phone 8 supports apps/tasks to remain active on the background while you are working on a different application. In order to save battery you should take utmost care that you close applications when you are done with them.
Tip: Hit back button as many times as required until you reach the Start Screen. That closes the application instead of sending it to background. Games and apps like Nokia Drive drain are the main culprits, and they should be closed when they aren’t needed.
3. Block Background Tasks
The other piece of advice is that you can block background tasks totally. To do that navigate to settings. Flick the screen to reach application settings. Select background tasks.
 Background-Tasks
From the list of apps in it, select the one you wish to prevent from running in the background and hit block. Repeat for other apps that are not required to run in the background.
 Background-Task-Advanced
 Block-Background-Task
4. Reduce Screen Timeout Time
By default the screen times out after 1 minute to automatically lock the phone. You may want to reduce it further to make some difference. Navigate to settings -> lock screen to do that.
 Screen-Timeout
Also, I suggest that you have it password protected so that the phone does not unlock by mistake.
See This: To learn more on how to customize WP8 lock screen, change screen time out and set password, check our guide here.
5. Change Screen Brightness
The colors on Nokia Lumia are very clear, distinct and vivid. It is also obvious that the battery plays a role in the adjustment of brightness which is set to automatic.
So, you can choose to turn off automatic adjustment off and set you own level of brightness. To do that navigate to settings -> brightness.
 Screen-Brightness
6. Use a Dark Theme and Background
This is very similar to the brightness tip above. Using a darker theme and background save some power in emitting light for a brighter appearance. You can modify that by navigating to settings -> theme.
 Theme-Settings
7. Disable Automatic SkyDrive Upload
When you integrate your phone with SkyDrive it attempts to upload relevant and new content (specifically, photos) to the cloud. This demands battery consumption.
 Photos-Auto-SkyDrive-Upload
You can turn this off by navigating to photos settings. Choose Don’t upload.
8. Sync Music and Videos at Home
A very basic tip where you are suggested to keep your phone in sync with your computer with regards to music, videos and other files. That way you do not have to depend on streaming of data. That can also save you some data plan and dollars.
9. Reduce Contacts and Email Sync Frequency
Email accounts are directed to sync and download data at a given frequency and for a given timestamp. You can choose to reduce this or zero it down. Rather, when you need to look at the latest you can for manual updates.
 Email-Account-Settings
The options are placed under settings -> email + account. Select an account from the available list and navigate to its settings. Then customize the parameters as shown in the image.
10. Turn off Connections and Services You are Not Using
There are things like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC (tap + send) and XBOX Live which keep checking for available connections when turned on. If you are not using them, I suggest you to keep them turned off. Helps, right?
The same applies to location services.
11. Turn off Unwanted features
You can choose to turn off other redundant things like keypad sounds, vibration and many more that I may have missed.
12. General Tips
New devices take some time to obtain battery optimization. So, during the initial days charge and discharge the device fully. That helps you set the limits for the same.
Use the charger that comes originally with the device. Other changers, though compatible, may not do proper justice to the battery.
Use wired headphones instead of running music and videos on the phone speakers
